did they make gc 1 or 3 without ashtrays

i was told today my gc cant be a 1 or 2 since the corner pockets dont have ash trays
is this correct???

Table

The aprons and rails tell the tail of the table for the most part... There are a lot of mixed and matched gold crown tables on earth.
The GC 1,2,3 and a few other model of brunswick tables shared the same corner castings. Not all GC1's have the ashtray option.

I believe ashtrays were an option on the GCI and GCIIs, not sure about the later tables though. I think by the time they went to the copper colored castings on the GCIIIs the ashtray option was gone. Not all the GCIs and GCIIs had ashtrays, I think they are rather rare. That is quite possibly the worst way of trying to identify what series GC you have.

Based on an old catalog I have, you could add on ashtrays to the GC and a couple other brunswick models.
