Love this event. Usually feature top notch international field and this year is no exception. In fact this year's field is much stronger than last year
I like that all matches will be streamed. Too bad it is single elimination
My picks are the big breakers -Buste, Chinahov, Ko, Jayson, Shane. Also like Orcollo in this since his 10 ball break has improved a lot as evident in recent Ko-Dennis match. Darren, Niels cannot be written off.

Just for clarity -- the winners shown above for 2009 through 2012 are for the Fatboy 10-Ball Challenge played on 9-foot tables, not for the Bigfoot Challenge played on 10-footers.

The Bigfoot events started at the Southern Classic in 2012, with Pagulayan as the winner. Another one was held at the Southern Classic in 2013, with Boyes as the winner. So 5 such 10-foot events have been held so far. And if we include the Fatboy events, the total of these 10-Ball Challenges is 9.

Here's a thread showing all the money winners for those 9 events: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=387852

Spartan,

if that is a picture of you in your avatar, you are more than welcome to sit in one of my seats at the tv table to watch the big foot 10 ball tourney.

If the referee is being backed by French, and the weather is exactly 30 degrees Fahrenheit, then I like Shane to take it down.

Last year, the first Bigfoot match was at 1:00 pm local time on Friday.

I haven't yet seen an announcement of the starting time for this year.

Just an incredible field..................my favorite event at the DCC from a spectator's point of view.

+1

This is an incredibly tuff field. Still there is people out there.... Hohmann, lil Ko, Ignacio, Corteza, Mika, Rodney, Kiamco, Deuel... just from the top of my head. It is crazy how many world class pool player are out there.

looking very much forward to this... btw, my pick: Shane, how can u not pick him ;)
