225 ball run at Derby

This is beautiful. Leave it to Bobby and Lou to turn this into a "clean the cue ball" thread.

I'll put up a couple of more runs. Bobby, Lou: Don't watch the patterns or the runs but let us know if anyone abuses their right to get the cue ball cleaned. That is what most straight pool enthusiasts are interested in.

Dennis I won't find your comment offense because I know you and consider you a friend.I really do appreciate all you do for 14.1 and I know it's an endless job running an event. I just ran the US Open everyday but Wednesday that week from about 930am to 3am or later so I know it's a tough job with no reward but the love of the game.
I want to make a couple things clear. First off my intent was not to turn this thread sideways as I thought the cue ball being cleaned was way to many times. I geuss I'm very proud of my runs and have a different look out of respect to the game than others. Running 225 by anyone is a huge feat and being that is was Lee Vann is a bonus and if he learned better pattern play and cue ball control there is no doubt he could run over 200 every month he plays.
I personally have run over 200 many times and my high run is 311 in which ended on a skid which could have happened from a couple of things and if the cue ball was cleaned maybe the run would have been longer. Lee Vann's run didn't set any record but there are many runs that can have a small * next to them in my opinion.
All in all its a Gentleman's game and I only wish my health gets better soon to be able to put up some good runs and enjoy playing again.

All is well, Bobby. Best of health to you and see you down the road.

One thing I noticed was this key ball at 1:10

That's not something I see many players using as a key ball but I like it. As long as he doesn't get straight he can pop the cue ball off the rail and have a good break shot.
