A friend picked up this old two point Original Meucci from an old man who was the original owner, said he purchased it in the 80's. He only played with it in his home man cave and it is in great condition. I can't find anything on Google or Budgetcues website. Weight bolt is a big flat-flat head screw and the pin is your standard Meucci pin. It is a two pointer with nice veneers.
The case is an old Viking case, I'm guessing by the name. Any info and what it's worth would be great and appreciated. Case latch works and the cue is an 8 1/2 out 10 and I might be a little harsh on that.

Thank you, Ron

Is this the pool version of "this car belonged to an old lady who only drove it on Sundays"? :)

Do you want to sell the cue & case,,? Please call 918-543-6600

In the Blue Book of Cues 3rd Edition, on page 523, there is a cue very, very similar, if not exact.

It is a level 3 95-8 at 98%, it's value is $205

Good Luck

That is not the cue.
The 95-8 would be worth a 100 less because it's not a original.

Ron,

When I first started collecting, I went after the old Meucci originals. I haven't bought one in 10+ years, but it looks like an 84-4 to me. http://www.budgetcues.com/archive/meucci-84-series-2.htm.

These used to go on ebay for about $250 to $300 if they were in excellent shape - but that was back then and a lot of people were buying on ebay. The page views have dropped considerably since then.

The cue and case together in today's market is about $250 if the cue rolls reasonable straight.

Sorry, I disagree. $300.00 min. - $400.00 Max. if the cue rolls reasonable straight, both look in very good condition.
