I was in the shop the other day and saw this blank and told Paul to finish it.
I loved the wood. Amboyna burl.
Wished the pictures were better.

No need for better picture with that piece of wood. That is really what cues are all about the natural beauty of wood. Very good eye and good move.

Paul has racks of cue blanks of exotic woods that should not be covered up.
It's tough going in his shop and not picking out a cue to have him finish every time I'm there.
He has the biggest suppy of exotic woods I ever saw.

It's always an interesting experience visiting Paul's shop. Most interesting is working with Paul because he can execute any design, work with most any material, and solve any problem,
