Cue issues refunds how long should you wait??????

Yea...you figure if thats a business of yours you would have that ready just in case issues do happen

not on this one because you know it was a known cue maker that seemed on the up and up
very quick to respond to my questions and request when we were finalizing the deal
once that part was done and payment sent
the quickness went away and had to send a few texts to get a response
now waiting for a refund i have to send alot of texts
he says he is having some tough times...
well it seems when money is owed anywhere that person is always going through tough times

i have been waiting one month right now for a refund

Huge mistake...I don't care if JC was making my cue. Good luck though getting your money refunded in an acceptable time or at all for that matter. Most cue makers live from cue to cue.

Unfortunately it does like a mistake on me for trusting people to do what they say they do instead of just out to make a quick buck
Pretty sad nowadays how some people are in this world

Come February if nothing gets sent everyone will know his name
There are some of his cues for sale right now...lets just hope they are not as bad as mine was.

I understand where you are coming from but the guy did just have to have a kidney transplant and some other surgery. I made a trade deal with him and had no issues other than him forgetting to do my iTrader lol.

A trade deal is easy, this guy took on work he couldn't do or didn't give a shit as long as he got the money. Sounds to me ....

This has been since last year
Its not an out of nowhere deal ok
He has had many opportunities to make things right
He hasnt stepped up to the plate to do it

You know he also set up a Go Fund Me account to
You sure all of that money is being used properly
You know he is still trying to sell cue parts
You know he is having other sellers sell his cues as well
If those sales are made he can use that money to refund me for this POS cue that he sent me

Oh yea he is also well enough to attend a concert too
Things must be on the up and up now

Dont play the card of bad things are happening
Life is what it is
You sell someone a jacked item
Take care of it like a proper business man
Dont pull the wool over peoples eyes to make a quick buck

Its so convenient that when a person owes someone money....they are going through bad times

If you want point him to this thread
Let him explain his side
Im just waiting
I got all the texts we sent back and forth saved
I have all the emails saved
I have videos of how bad the shafts roll
Im ready.....just waiting here
My attorney is drawing paper work and all to get things going as well

I have a couple of questions. You keep saying this cuemaker is well known here on AZ. And yet... who the hell is Reuben Fisher???

Also, I get that you're pissed and upset. That's understandable. But if you're going to highlight everything that's wrong with the cue and say things like it's "A WORTHLESS PIECE OF WOOD AS IT WAS MADE SO HORRIBLY INCORRECT" in your ebay sale, you may wanna consider dropping your price. Call me crazy but $500 is a lot to pay for a cue that "IS BEING SOLD FOR FIREWOOD AS THAT IS ALL IT IS GOOD FOR".

Seriously
Do you know the purpose of that sale ad?
Ebay reaches many people all over the world
There is a reason for the ad
Think about it..............................

You dont need a atony because we have our own in house AZ legal tem and they are on top of it. They work 24/7@365.

why do people keep having custom cues made by people who almost nobody knows and think they are good craftsmen. good craftsmen with great reps are well known by the whole community.

only reason i can think of is they are trying to get a bargain. and that is exactly what they get.

buy a production cue from a reputable brick and motor company who stands behind their product. those are much better than some guy making a cue who is dead broke out of his basement with green dowels. cheap cue makers use cheap uncured wood so it warps.

to the op, just eat it up and keep the cue you paid for. i wouldnt send it back first either at this point.

Paying up front for work is the surest way to get screwed...the seller should undo the deal. Paypal may not do much for you since it's been over 7 days since you purchased the cue.

This started in April last year
I sent money in September last year
Its been a long time coming...it just didnt come correct

One of Reuben's friend has contacted me and offered a possible solution
If we can come to terms
If not.....I still havent heard at all from Reuben Fisher
Not a single attempt to text or call since Jan 25th

I am having the same issue with a cue I purchased. The seller is a cue manufacturer, but I didn't buy one of their cues... I bought a cue that is a production cue. They are an AZB forum member also.... I bought the cue off of Ebay so I wasn't worry about it being misrepresented, because Ebay's return policies are so heavily favored for the buyer that you would have to be a total moron to try and screw someone on Ebay....but that is exactly what they tried to do....

They misrepresented the condition of the cue...and the funny thing is, when I did some research on them, they were joking about how bad some of the work on the cue was....yet when they listed it on Ebay, they said nothing about it....

Reason I am posting this is because if they try to sell it on Ebay, I won't care....it will just get returned again....

But if I see it go up for sale on here or a few other locations that I have found that they frequent, I am going to put up all the information that I uncovered and expose them so that nobody gets burned (without at least knowing the full story, if they choose to buy anyway, that's on them)....

Btw, I plan on making a lot more 'happy' posts then this one.... I guess my first post on here is going to be this zinger....

:)
