When is Shane's ice fishing vacation over, so he can get some MC pots?
I think Mark Wilson better get to pick three players himself this year. I have a feeling that he top three in points are not going to be close to the best we got. Points from regional tournaments and 7' BB tables won' get the top tier players IMO. Johnnyt
 
Calm down! Taking some time off is important in any sport. With Shane's insane travel schedule, he needs to recharge.
There are 25 Mosconi Cup points events in the U.S. this year. So far 5 have been played. Shane has played in one of them and won it. (Derby City 9 Ball) He presently sits in 3rd place in points. He will be fine.

Strongly disagree. The guys who earn it through their play will be the best we've got. The cream will rise to the top. In 2015, we sent the top five based on points and our team was very competitive,

The guys at or near the top of the standings are playing great pool right now.

he had a grueling 4 day 10 ball action man lined up against orcullo
not his fault orcullo screwed over his backer and dipped out of the match.
 
Just thinking out loud, but it seems that the regional players would be at a disadvantage if they don't travel to other areas for some of the events. The more you play, the better chance you have.

sounds more like Orcullo got screwed over by his backer- French got him to agree to a scam contract.

How good do you have to be to LOSE at MC?
 
Call me crazy......but I think the best 5 we have in the US aren't even considered PRO or playing in ranked events.

Yeah, it sounded to me like orcollo (not orcullo, right?) did what he thought was right, and did not want a y part of French any more after that con job French pulled on orcollo (about the contract). By the way, why are there so many different spellings for his last name? Just curious.

What about the ones that just quit, because pool did not pay enough? Could any of those guys get back into pool and have a good chance at the MC events? Assuming they wanted to that is.

There are no players in the united states that aren't considered "PRO"…. that can play with Shane or Justin B… etc….

Surely….if so… who?

It was explained in some thread (don't know which one) that the actual spelling is Orcullo, but it was misspelled as Orcollo on his passport or something like that
