Using a G10 jump tip?

I prefer g10 for ferrule material and samsara for tip but I also prefer g10 over plain old phenolic.
I had one on a break jump I had stolen... it jumped better than any other tip I have tried and that is most.

I recently had a Purple Heart shaft made for my break cue, the shaft has a G-10 ferrule/tip. In the few weeks using it, I have found it to be very unforgiving, You must be spot on center ball, hitting the 1 ball solid to get the best results. I have considered having the tip flattened out and putting a Taom on. That is what I used prior to the new shaft. My jump cue is a Hanshew, Purple Heart shaft with a black 1 piece ferrule/tip, it makes jumping quite a bit easier than my old bunjee. After a discussion with one of the worlds best at jumping, I have huge understanding now of how angle, leverage (length of cue) and stroke effects the jump and cue ball control.
I jump really well with my G10 tip and ferrule combo. I've tried phenolic and regular jump tips and I can honestly say jumping is much easier with G10. I also have a lyptus shaft on my jump break.
The breaking part for that combo took a little to get used to. I can control my cue ball, but like Briana said you have to be dead on with your stroke and tip placement. It works better for me and my style of play compared to anything else I have used to break with. I'll never get another breaker or jumper.

Not done much with testing just jumpers but as a break tip the G10 is too hard and damages cueballs.....
Every cueball in the room I play in is like this and they are all brand new diamonds so there are no nail or staple pops and you can see the smiles are the size of the contact patch of the tip on the ball..... Each of those smiles can cause a skid if they are the contact point on the object ball....

Chris, are there a lot of people there that use G10? Are there just a couple of people doing this? Are you positively sure it's the G10 and I thought there was harder stuff on the market than G10.
Had a G10 on my custom jumper, now have a phenolic I prefer much better. Thanks for the pics, wow.
Allen I am almost 100% certain it's all from G10/G11... There were a handful of players that had them and am hoping we have gotten most of them to swap out by now...
I am unaware of any tip harder than G10 in use currently and have tested pretty much every tip material/make on the market... IF the cueball is rated at 100 G10 would come in around 108 ShoreD but it doesn't go past 100 so this is just comparison in nature..
In testing other phenolics I have not seen damage caused by them as they are softer than the phenolic used to make the balls... I could see because of the small contact patch that maybe Mike Dechaine or Larry Nevel could cause damage using them as well because they are capable of generating more power than I can generate and break speeds in excess of 26-27 are usually only seen in break contests and just showing off....
