I love this thread... it's got me wanting to get a bumperless beauty for my next cue.

A question for you bumperless guys though:
How do you put the the cue down when there's no carpeting at the pool hall?
I'm also afraid that I'll miss a shot, and slam the cue down in frustration like I sometimes do... and crack!
