Pool Survey: Why do you play pool?

I mean I'll watch some matches but doesn't interest me much either

I just like to pocket ball's, and make caroms
Leave chess on the chessboard, I also enjoy chess BTW not a knock on it at all

I play for the love of the game... However, it is nice to get paid for doing something that you enjoy. Not that I'm a world beater or anything like that, but I do all right.

Cause I love robbing CHUMPS!!! JK. I didn't vote cause I was a little of most of the choices and a lot of what was not a choice. Another choice that would have been great ( and woulda been my answer ) I love the action and pool is a very cool vehicle! Thing is in no way is I a job, just totally for fun!

For me it is a form of relaxation, almost meditation. During that time, all the other stresses in my life, disappear.

Concur completely. Pool for me is chess on steroids. Not only do you see and plan your moves, but one must EXECUTE your plan. When I'm in a game or match I'm taking seriously, all the world takes a backseat. Very thetaputic.
