John Morra can beat any American for the Dough

Didnt he just beat Shane in the finals of fairly major pro 10 ball event?
Not many americans and no shortsops are capable of a win like that.

So what that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, I've beaten world class 9 ball players in tournaments. Just cuz I caught a gear and beat champions in a race to 7,9 or 11 like maybe 5 times out of 100 in my life doesn't mean crap. Everyone plays a decent match once and a while
 
Playing one pocket, there are probably 20 players I like over Morra. Playing rotation. I like

SVB
Mike D
Bergman
Hall if he is playing full time
Morris
Oscar
Woodward
 
John Morra may not be the best player in North America, but he is a great player. Either extreme view of him being the best or worse than a shortstop is far from the truth. He is very fundamentally sound and seems to be keep a cool head when competing. Of course he can be beat but he can beat any player in any given match
 
Didn't Morra recently beat Oscar in a money match? (And this is coming from someone who highly respects Oscar as a person and his game)

Was a snoooooozer... they both fell asleep as it happened... As far as their TPA scores they are close to identical....... Similar games where all they do is win.... All I can say if you open a thread up like this and aren't backing Morra you need to STFU and not post until you flipped enough burgers to do so.....

He is top 5 with US players for sure

3rd tier? I would say 2nd. John is able to win any tournament in the world. He's consistently towards the top.

If the Mosconi cup were continent vs continent instead on country vs continent, Morra would be on the US team for sure.

John is no slouch but in terms of playing for cash he plays a ball or 2 below his tournament game. The man has a solid tournament record in both
North America and internationally.
