Sad - i was looking forward to it

I have to wonder what strategy is used to pull in potential investors. What formula shows them a return on investment - other than the love of the game

a + b = investor loosing a whole bunch of money

till there's a return on investment you'd just have to be mad at your money to get involved
 
Very sorry about this and I know a bunch of the top players were already to play in the tournaments. Did a big sponsor pull out because of the change in the tournament to 4 instead of the one big one? Johnnyt

What were they thinking when they developed the schedule? The 2nd event coincided with the American 14.1 championship, which just so happens to being held in Midlothian VA, which just happens to be 2 hours away from the US 9-Ball championship the following week in Virginia Beach VA. The Midlothian tournament always draws big names, and the purse is better. Duh? All this following conflicts with the original schedule.
 
That sucks. Good on the promoters for letting people know right away. Others would keep it quiet, hustle around trying to find money till the last minute then cancel.
