Tonight was the first time I tried it. Spent 15-20 minutes practicing before I recorded it. At first I was rolling it slower than the video shows then I sped it up and it was easier.

Trick seems to be to pre-aim, then wait for the object ball to roll into the spot...actually is kind of like duck shooting.

Actually you roll the object ball and set the cue ball down so the object ball is rolling straight away in your aim then pick your cut into the corner. Easy!

So Earl is good at this, Fats was good at this, Side Pocket you are in good company.
Nice shootin SP.

Hmmm looks like those donuts giving a vantage point, seem to shoot the object in the same spot. Looks fishy, smells fishy, it's probably mullet. The Pearl hits it from everywhere on the table, nice try though.

I've seen Tom Rossman do that on a 12' snooker table,, tough to make 3 in a row...

He rolls them faster, and his are usually in the center of the table. I saw a few and thought, why even shoot at it, it will go in on its own because they are rolling diagonal straight to the pocket lol.

Haven't seen him on a 12', but saw him on a 7' warming up for an exhibition rolling them every which way and cutting alternating sides up to close to 90 degree cuts, made about a dozen straight before (barely) missing. I can't even imagine it on a 12' snooker table...

The donuts are set up for the BU Exam $2500 Challenge. Side Pocket AKA "Scott Brazier" on a 10 Foot Brunswick http://billiards.colostate.edu/BU_challenge.html

Like I said, last night was a first time attempt. If I were to spend years, like the Pearl, shooting the shot I'd make it look easy too but I see no point in practicing the shot.

I also took over a 3 year record held by Gerry Williams and did it on my 10 foot table. I do plan to improve my overall score before the contest ends September 1st 2016.

Thanks for watching though.
