Final 6 at Turning Stone

so are we talkin history here? when was the last time a lady made it this far in a tourney this stacked?

Stacked ? Hardley ! field is pretty weak for a event with that kind of prize money , because you have Chinesse 8 ball where most of the big hitters are and a Bar Box event that has some more of the top guys playing

ONE time winner?

Alex , Mika 2 Darren , and several world championship players also since the money is raised and its a WPA points event now it will be interesting to see if the Asians cross the pond ,

As far as Kevin is concerned I don't know if he needs to be scared of anyone who resides on US soil

So now what, Shane's not good enough to win anymore? Is that really what you're trying to say, because it sure sounds like it.

Not in the least Shane is capable of going far in world events ,, as competitor I find it hard to understand , not like he's broke I'm sure he has some sponsorship better than lesser players you see there , just makes me wonder if he's getting some cash from CSI to play there instead , just does not make sence to me when your someone building a legecy world events is what people look at the end of the day

5-4 now. Three of Shaw's wins were poor safeties by Karen that left him a combination on the 9.

Shane has proven numerous times that he can rise to the top in a world-class field, but he's proven twice that he'll implode mentally in the finals, when it really counts. Skipping Turning Stone and the China Open to play on barboxes doesn't help his case, either. Looks to me like he doesn't venture out of his comfort zone well. Nothing wrong with that, applies to lots of people. Hopefully soon we'll have an American player who doesn't suffer from Shane's setbacks and can make us relevant on the world stage again.

Last month he won $10,000 in the 10-ball and $11,000 in the 8-ball bar box tournaments, so I'd say that was a pretty good use of his time.

Ok, let him stay in his comfort zone, then. Who's the next great American player that will actually make us relevant again? Nobody? Bueller?

Maybe Shaw takes US citizenship.
