(No, not THAT 10,000.)

10,000 posts. Oy vey. A bit surprising. A bit depressing. It gives me pause.

DCCs, 1Pocket Opens, Tunica, and MC trip reports; endless ruminations on 1pocket and pool strokes; an infamous CB theft; travels to rooms and tournaments hither and yon; an occasional trick shot; the sublime to the ridiculous — Ginacues and broomsticks; the SBE, 14.1 and 10Ball Opens; my first pool hall and cue; lessons with Dallas West, Ray Martin, and Steve “Cookie Monster" Cook; books, DVDs, aiming systems, and tip reviews; reminiscing about time on the TAR TV table; the “Ballad of John and Lou” in three part harmony (Lou: 1/John: 0, for all eternity :-); a 112 ball run caught on tape; and as always the support and encouragement of my wife, Gail.

oh, and occasionally pissing some of you guys off :-)

But I’ve also had the opportunity to parlay with a lot of really good people here, many of whom I’ve had the chance to meet, all through the auspices of the inter web. It’s all been good.

Maybe another 10,000 (or two). Maybe not. It's been fun.

Eh...I thought you were posting about dollars you were playing Barton for. Nope, just posts...lol

Way to go, Lou.
Anyone who can accumulate that many posts has got to be windier than a sack full of assholes.

Congratulations. Keep up the good fight for One Pocket.

You sure do "talk" alot

I was waiting for the punchline....

The title kind of reminds me of a joke-

A man was walking down the street near the mental institution and on the other side of the fence he can hear people chanting 99, 99, 99... So, out of curiosity he walks to the fence and tries to peek through a hole. As soon as he does, somebody pokes him in the eye with a stick and everyone on the other side of the fence starts chanting 100, 100, 100...

Eric >feels poked in the eye

Very cool. As someone else noted, I dont alway agree with what you write here, but I like the way you write it :p

AZB is better with you here. Here's to another 10k

Half of them are from arguing with Barton. ..j/k :D

I agree with dub. Dont always agree but like the way you write.

Expert

They say to become an expert at something you need to put in 10000 hrs of practice . In this case we will use post in place of hours. You are now a certified poster.
Congratulation here's to 10000 more.

If you had used the multi-quote feature as intended, you'd have many fewer posts.:)

[I imagine we'll be testing that again later in this thread.]

I'm pleased you're still here, Lou.
