10,000 posts. Oy vey. A bit surprising. A bit depressing. It gives me pause.
DCCs, 1Pocket Opens, Tunica, and MC trip reports; endless ruminations on 1pocket and pool strokes; an infamous CB theft; travels to rooms and tournaments hither and yon; an occasional trick shot; the sublime to the ridiculous — Ginacues and broomsticks; the SBE, 14.1 and 10Ball Opens; my first pool hall and cue; lessons with Dallas West, Ray Martin, and Steve “Cookie Monster" Cook; books, DVDs, aiming systems, and tip reviews; reminiscing about time on the TAR TV table; the “Ballad of John and Lou” in three part harmony (Lou: 1/John: 0, for all eternity

But I’ve also had the opportunity to parlay with a lot of really good people here, many of whom I’ve had the chance to meet, all through the auspices of the inter web. It’s all been good.
