What is going on with he goldmine on this site. It seems like it has been several months since there were any giveaways. When the site banned the raffles of cues did it also ban the purpose of the goldmine as well? If so is there going to be a change in the name of that link to the name of the magazine archive?

The Gold Mine is basically the National Billiard News archive, which you have access to if you are a paid member of AZB. Your membership is also what qualifies you for the drawings.
Not sure why you would think that banning raffles had any effect on the magazine archive.

I think OP was referring to the Gold Mine give aways with the free swag for a few lucky gold members.
Donald thinks it's rigged, that might explain why I haven't won anything.

I did not think it was rigged in any way. I guess I am not that cynical. I knew the goldmine was where that magazine archive is and that it was a benefit of being a gold member. I also knew the giveaways or sweepstakes were also benefits of being a gold member. I thought they were supposed to be a monthly thing. I have not seen any since July and we are coming upon black friday and the start of the Christmas shopping season.
Come to think about it Since the new magazine has been online I have not seen any sweepstakes maybe that has something to do with it.
