Ned Morris Cue Appraisal

Hello everyone. I willingly admit that I know nothing about cues and need your help in identifying this cue and what you believe an approximate value of it should be. The cue appears to be in good shape, still perfectly straight but has a small delamination at the end of it (Last Pictured). Thanks for any constructive input you may have!

Hello. You could contact Mr. Morris and inquire with him as to what this cue sold for originally. It is a fairly plain cue, so in todays market I would say $200, but that is just an opinion.

I'd list it at 500 if I had it, but cue market is just goofy.

Well, it was surprisingly easy to get a hold of Mr. Morris and he recommended $500. He knew what materials he used and who he made it for 16 years ago. He said the market was bad for cue sellers right now and recommended holding onto it as it's easily a $900-$1000 cue.

This is my Morris cue that Ned made for me nearly twenty years ago (see the tiny Mc). One of the best hitting cues I own! It may have cost me something like four or five hundred all those years ago (two shafts) but it is far more valuable to me now.

Alongside is my brand new Segen cue made by Evon Clarke, original Schon cue maker with Bob Runde. Another sweet playing cue at a very good price. Just changed the tip to an Elk Master, that's all.
