Top pros using the Revo shaft

I have not seen any of the top pros especially the ones sponsored by Predator use the shaft. I've only seen Carlo, Chezka & Albin break with what seems like the Revo shaft.

Chezka was using the Revo shaft in a money match in Manila but switched back to her 314-3 midway because she was missing badly. Jasmin O. was the only one I saw use it in a tourney but she did not play good with it too.

Any thoughts on why this is? Better yet, any info directly from the these top pros that have the shaft but are currently not using them?!

No amount of sponsorship money if worth it if you can't shoot straight with the sponsored cue.

I may be wrong, but I think Mike Dechaine played with a prototype until they dumped him.

I`m not gonna say where I have the information from, but I have heard that several sponsored players aren`t that impressed with the Revo shaft.

Jasim Ouschan, Waleed Majid, Tony Robles (supposedly), Keisuke Hanawa, and a few other lesser-known pro level players...

I think the question you should be asking is what players, if any, saw a measurable jump in their performance switching to the REVO. Hint: none.

It's one of those things where if you're good enough to exploit the difference between the REVO and the next-best LD shaft out there (if there even is a playability advantage) you're already good enough to win with your favorite tip put on any decent off-the-shelf cue if you really wanted to.

To me, the reason for the REVO would be more about durability than performance, and the reason against the REVO is that if the taper and hit don't suit you, that's a lot of money for a shaft you don't love.
