Call and cancel if possible. The Schmelke's are excellent to deal with. The cue might not have been started.
Wish it was radial pin.
I love schmelke. May need to pick up another at this price.
Should I even bother getting one of these considering my playing cue ia a Cuetec R360?

Didn't order from Schmelke. No biggie. Usually someone buys it down the road... I just like to have a few extra good cues around, and if folks wanna buy them, I just sell it to them. I like'em cause OB shafts fit nice on them as well

Oh, yeah, that is beautiful (purple heart into very nice looking BEM). I would prefer it without the wrap though. That would be a super nice sneaky pete. I did not know they put such beautiful BEM into their cues. All the ones I ever seen just had the plain looking straight grain maple forearms (that I never liked the looks of).
Oh yeah, you can get curly or birdseye in the sp's. Might be 30-40bux extra, not much.
You can order with radial pin. Mine is.
My cue is 61", 2 - 13mm shafts,short Elforyn ferrules,white Elforyn joint, checked maple rings on shafts and butt, screw in butt extension, Birdseye forearm, Cocobolo butt, Hoppe ring. 380.00 shipped in less than 30 days. Thats the good.
The bad...one of the ferrules was tapered from a bad tip installation, the rings on the butt had some smudge/discoloration from not being cleaned properly before finishing. Finish was nice besides that. I ended up having the shaft turned down to 12.75 so the ferrule wasn't a issue but still inexcusable for a new cue. Overall shafts are nice wood. Tips were triangles but were poor quality so i replaced them. Butt came in Bacote when i ordered Cocobolo.
I knew i wasn't getting high end perfection when i ordered the cue, so overall i'm happy. I wanted a cheap,nice looking, radial pin, 61", bar banger cue with two shafts and a butt extension for playing one pocket. With 50.00 to my local cue man for the shaft and tips and a little extra TLC after i received it, its now exactly what i wanted.

I see a lot of these are the 5/16 pin. How do they hit? If they dont hit soft enough that does it for me but they look great.
