Who Is #2 In U;S.A?

Lots of players hit the ball well enough to be #2, but I never lost money betting on any of Earl's matches.

I think Justin and Sky clearly have more naturally ability than Mike. I also really like Josh Roberts.
With this said, #2 today is, and I can't believe I saying this , Mike solely based on accomplishments. He's still a complete TARD IMO! Now excuse while I go vomit!

Tough to say. Bergman was clearly #1 at the Mosconi, but the truth is that SVB is indisputably #1 among Americans.

I'm sure I'm not alone on wanting to see a Dechaine vs Bergman match, and from what Justin has posted, they are quite keen on playing each other and betting high. I'd have to call the winner of such a match America's second best. No doubt, it could go either way.

Incidentally, Billy Thorpe is in the conversation, but I'm not sure he's ready for Bergman or Dechaine in a long race quite yet. He will be soon. Another player whose game is on the rise is Josh Roberts, and the sky's the limit for Josh.

On bar tables, Sky Woodward is probably #2 in America.

Breaking and game could be a big factor ,, I like MD in 10 ball I think Berg might have the edge in 9 ball ,, I'm not sure Billy wants either today but tomorrow if he stays with it could be very bright his ceiling is unlimited same with Josh

What about Donnie Mills? Mike Davis? Justin Hall? Hennessey?

Mills needs his own table and rack to be good from what I have heard/read, Mike Davis, Hall and Hennessey are pretty clearly to me a step behind Dechaine.

Odd thing is that no-one mentioned Duel.

Bergman and Deschaine neck abd neck for #2 and #3. There is a large gap after them for the #4 - #10 players.

Duel has pedigree for sure but I'm just not sure of his dedication to bring his game up to what it once was

I'd like to see that matchup as well. If I had to choose I'd take Bergman.

Bergman did beat Shaw long race too. However Shaw seems to be playing much better now. I think mostly its his break that has improved a bunch since this match.

I'd like to see Bergman play against one of the Taiwan guys(Big Ko or JL Chang) in 9b. Race to 25.

Can Bergman improve on his 9b/10b break??

A couple of years ago, there was a lot of talk about Dechaine and Shane playing a big match, but a lot of excuses kept flying around.

He might stumble in against either in a race to 25 but I'd love to see it there not here

The Taiwan guys will be here for DCC. JL Chang even earlier for the 8b event.

Someone needs to setup some matches!

.

Bergman said he didn't like working on his break? If that's true it wont improve and although we know, thanks to ALarge's fact checking, that the break is only a slight advantage, that's all it would take at their level.

Advantage Shaw, Ko, Mike, Thorpe and definitely Josh!!

Whats his deal?

I did forget about Duel and I actually like his game better then any of them. Has anyone ever sat down with him and asked him whats the deal?

My pick will be Jayson Shaw with Mike Dechaine coming in close.
It all boils down to consistency during crunch time ( pressure ).

However I feel Shane's undisputedly no.1 due to his consistency and superior break ( especially 10 ball ) however only on America's soil.

But i wish Jayson can up his game n overtake Shane as i feel he has more natural talent n better shot-making firepower , dude just needs to get his head n composure in check n he can go really far as he demonstrated in Kuwait.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that Shane came in 2nd in the last 2 world 9 ball championships. Ko beat him to win the 1st, and then Albin beat him to win the last one. So, what international event is Shane not playing his best in (other then the Mosconi Cup)? Sorry for the off topic reply.
