I look at what someone has PUT INTO the game to be where he or she is. I look at what he/she has "given up". For example, I gamble a little bit. I'm NOT the best player in the world. I played APA this season for the FIRST TIME EVER. In 8 ball I'm maxed out as a 7. In 9 ball I'm an 8. Now, I know PEOPLE BETTER THAN ME!! Honestly, truly I do. HOWEVER, when I look at said individuals I think to myself "this guy is two balls better but he dropped out of school in 10th grade and can't write a coherent sentence" But maybe no one understands this but me. Perhaps I'm crazy guys!! 🤔 I remember Steve Mizerack said after losing "you guys are lucky I was up last night doing lessons plans for my students and I have a full time job. Unless I would NEVER miss a ball" 😂😂💪🙌

So if I understand you correctly, you think everyone that plays better than you is a high school deopout that cant spell? Way to stereotype all the good players.

No sir absolutely not. I know several players doing well in life. MOST probably not. Being a "full time player/hustler" is rough!!

You got the 8 ball.

Is it just me, or is there a little irony that the two responses have spelling errors? Sorry could not help myself.............

@CharlieHustle I know you are better than I am. Particularly because I have announced my skill level. However, I DO NOT NEED ANY BALLS FROM YOU!! But since you're better, if you scratches or foul it's an auto loss for you!! LET'S PLAY!!

Think so? I think Bigkat is a PLAYER, he can handle all of them.

He got this!

It's about time Alex joined AZ....

You got ACTION!
Jason

The good news for you is I might be driving through in the next few days

No offense but I guess you just made his list! ;)

I think he meant to say dope-out.

Of course, I take umbrage at his indifferent reference to those who didn't finish school. I myself, had to go to work when I was in the seventh grade. Dad was a little down on his luck, and Mom had a stuttering problem that made her extraordinarily shy.
I got a job working for a guy down on Lake Taneycomo, baiting trot lines. He said it was a union job and I would start out as an apprentice. If all went well in a couple of years I'd become a Masterbaiter.
That job kind of petered out so I got another one at a local hospital working in the circumcision ward. It paid a lot better than the old job. I got five bucks an hour plus tips.

No offense taken. I graduated high school then joined the Marines for 9 years. Then I went to school and became a licensed A&P (aircraft mechanic)...thank god for the GI BILL...

I started playing pool in my 20s. 12 years later Im ranked as an A player if I play in tournaments and I play only once a week in leagues. I love the game of pool but I dont have time to dedicate to it.

Im just stating the above facts because the idiotic post the OP made when someone spanked his a$$ on league night...The more I play pool and I see the older players in leagues that have been playing pool longer than Ive been alive, I realize not everyone can make it to an A player unless they devote alot of time that they revolve their whole life around pool or they are just naturally talented and gifted.
