2017 Derby City Bigfoot 10 Ball

These young Russians have been surprising this pay year between Gorst and Chinahov...

That being said I really enjoyed the insight of Nick Varner, Mick Hill, and Chris Melling at the WPS 8 ball finals. Should get those guys in the box.

Do they announce matches like this? That's crazy.

it has filled up a little more, maybe 50% seating.

Even Danny D makes a comment about so little people watching.

Dennis scratches on the break. Shaw runs out the rack in less than 60seconds.

3-3.

An easy layout but Shaw hangs the 7ball in the corner pocket. Shaw is looking human today.

Dennis runs out, 4-3. Time out break.

Dennis 4 Jayson 3 Falcons 17 Packers 0

At least so far, sweating the Bigfoot might be the better move than watching the NFC Championship game.

Yep, I'm spending more time in front of my computer than in front of my tv right now.

Go Falcons!

Dennis runs a 197, but missing some very ROUTINE balls here giving games away to Shaw.

Shaw 5-4.

In the interest of complete disclosure:

Jayson 7 Dennis 5

Atlanta Falcons 24 Green Bay Packers 0 at halftime

The biggest shocker, though, is that Chris Melling has won his first seven matches in the bank pool event. It's his first Derby, and it's unlikely he has ever played bank pool before. I recall watching the Ko brothers trying to figure the game out a year ago at the Derby with limited success.

I think Shaw is the only player I've ever seen who can completely overpower a 10 foot Diamond table. I believe if he had to he could pick up the table and carry it out of the arena.

Dennis with poor position and hooks himself on the 3 ball. Trys a masse and fouls. Shaw runs out easy.

9-7.

Shaw with his 3rd BNR for today.

10-7 and a good chance to turn the lights off for Dennis.
