DCC 9-ball updates

Holy Smokes, Efren took down Shane??! Wow..

And everyone was saying how he looked real tired and aged after his last lost in 1p.

He did look tired, but he's obviously still got some magic left. Efren is 62, and going this far in the 9-ball tournament and beating Shane (who was on a roll) is just incredible.

We just missed Efren beating Shane, and now we've got Efren vs. Billy with the MOT on the line for Billy and we're not going to see any of these current matches?

What a shame.. Plus how many DCC does Efren have left and they aren't even showing him!

I recommend we all email them over their false advertisement.

I'll just vote with my wallet from now on. So glad the commentators are thrilled about the straight pool. Theyre babbling on about the 40 or so players that tried to qualify, acting like this is the biggest event in the world ever

If Efren beats Billy I think Dennis is the big favorite to win MOT.

Billy's the favorite against the still-dangerous Efren, but this Master of the Table race between Thorpe and Orcullo looks like an exciting one. You definitely get the sense that Dennis will contend for the nine ball title, but you never know what to expect at the Derby, whee giants are often slain.

I agree, Billy is the favorite against Efren. Even if Billy wins, though, he's still got an uphill climb to win MOT as long as Dennis remains undefeated.

Are you there? Go ask Pat WTF Accustats is doing. They are doggin it BIGTIME!!!!!!!!

is Shaw still in 9b?? He's not listed in current matches, but he might be in straight pool.

So it looks like some results from this morning were:
Carlo Biado (1) Li-Wen Lo (eliminated)
Fedor Gorst (0) beat Damianos Giallourakis (1) first loss
Justin Hall (1) Eklent Kaci (eliminated)
Shaun Wilkie (1) Alexandros Kazakis (eliminated)
Ramon Mistica (0) beat Donny Mills (1) first loss
Efren Reyes (1) beat Shane VanBoening (1) first loss

There are more players left, as shown in the Round 9 scheduled matches: http://208.106.220.42/DerbyCity/LiveMatchesandResults/_asp/scheduled.asp

Maybe they are trying to give tvmike a day off. I assumed he had all the straight pool. Ray had the action room.
Accu-stats had everything else ?

Wow, a couple Euros playing straight-pool. I wouldn't watch that if they were paying me to. Does AS actually think the majority of their buyers want to watch 14.1?

If this was not the last day of the 9-ball with the MOT on the line I could understand streaming the straight pool final, but not right now.
