I was at the DCC today for about 5 hours (from 10 am until 3pm). I seen both Dennis and Shane make a lot of mistakes, and Shane appeared to not be feeling well. He appeared to be in a really bad mood. I seen what appeared to be him tossing his cue (while he was just practicing, I think). I wish the DCC would put in bleachers, or more seats. The tournament room was so crowded (just like it was last year when I went). The seating is horrible (not enough seats, and they are all completely level with the floor, meaning that none are raised up any higher, so that you can see the players shoot, if there are people in front of you). I just had to stand the entire time, and it was still hard to see what was going on.

The Accu-Stats arena does have elevated seating, except for the first row. Shane and Dennis played a pretty good set in the finals imo. I do agree that the Horseshoe can change their name to Horseshit! The only good restaurants are the breakfast place in the lobby, with super slow service and Jack Binion's steakhouse with super high prices. The casino itself is a total ripoff joint!

Yeah, I completely forgot about the 2nd floor seating, but I did not see any elevated seating, other then the seats next to the TV table. I also completely forgot about the action room. Where exactly was that located? My 5 hours at the DCC went by way too quickly, for me. I had a $15 food voucher, so I went to the restaurant that was next door to the buffet (I forget the name of it, but I think it was something like Smoke & Rye). I had this skillet place dinner (with BBQ pork over Mac and Cheese), and it tasted pretty bland I thought. Not too good for an $18 price. Better then the buffet though, in my opinion, and much nicer atmosphere. And yeah, the casino is a big rip off. I think they have those machines rigged to just take peoples money. And the pit boss in the poker room seemed like a 1st class douche (last year), so I did not even bother going back in there this year. Overall, I had a nice time. I got to see some (many) very nice custom cues, and it was really cool watching the pool.

I wish that I could have seen Alex play. By the time I got there, Alex, Bergman, and Skyler Woodward must have already gotten knocked out of the tournament. That Russian kid was still in it though. I did not see any really great pool playing. Everyone was making bad mistakes.
