Has anyone noticed the pilot on shafts of the New SChons being bigger than normal . Trouble with some j/ps not fitting right , and he is 1000 miles away with no way to measure and give correct answers , He is trying tho .

No way to measure?

Calipers are cheap.

Or he can just go to a hardware store and "test" their calipers.

No?

I don't know anything about changes but I'll send you the spec's again. I keep a book on the cues I've worked on. It's a good book. Lol

I have 11 or 12 Schon shafts laying around, and the brass nubbins do vary a little, and a couple have a much larger radius than most.
Coincidently, I got one today, and it has a noticeably large radius, and j/p's are a problem.
Although Schon shafts are fairly consistent, I have seen some differences, especially in the nubbins and where the 'Schon" name is located around the black collar.
It changes from vintage to vintage, and shaft to shaft

I got three of these shafts today, with 2 older Schons
