WPBA Masters event report is being finished and will be sent out to media within the next day or two.
Tamara Peeters and teenage sensation April Larson finished tied in the 3rd-4th spots.
Both semis and the final went to sudden death games. A truly exciting finish to a great tournament.

I predict that it will not be long before April Larson will win her first WPBA event. Go April! :thumbup:

There was nothing exciting about that finish. The finals was some of the worst pool I've ever seen. Lets keep it real.
Not exciting eh.....I guess you have played ONE game for 3 thou....or seen one game played for that much......and no matter how good or bad it was played.....$$$$=excitement.
It was horrendous pool no matter how you want to spin it. The finals were embarrassing. Even the WPBA announcers finally had to say so "if one is playing real bad is there a tendency to play down to your opponent". Funny thing is, I had just said the same thing moments earlier to my mother who knows nothing about pool and was sitting there asking if these people were supposed to be good and I had to tell her I have never seen Cor shoot so bad. I won't even mention the other one's crappy play nor her ridiculous outfit.
So will the WPBA be letting the women who played in China instead of attending this event play in the April event in Pitt?
JFC dude, want some cheese with that whine? The fact that ESPN3 is even showing pool is good for all pool players, good play or bad. How many U.S. men's events get shown? Oh yeah, NONE. Ever wonder why? Do a little research and you'll find out how men's pro pool in the U.S. shot itself in the foot. Too bad your mom is going to base her opinions on pool from what you tell her.
What sucks is I had to look up JFC. He is totally entitled to his opinion. Any pool on TV is good for our Sport. ESPN 3 did shot the Mosconi Cup and the US men sucked at that. But we still watched it.
You're right, i should have been more specific. There is no mens pro TOUR anymore and the reasons why are MANY and varied. The MC is a British(Matchroom) produced, once-a -year, made-4-tv special. The format is kinda lame(races to five) but i still watched and enjoyed it. BTW, i watched semis and final of the WPBA event and although standard of play could have been better the production quality was first-rate.

I enjoy it too pal. I like when they were here in Vegas better. I really want to go one time.
Next year. Outta be wild with us having a Dutch captain. He's got his work cut out for him for sure. Thinking about going also. A buddy who was in the Marines for 23yrs retired out there so i've got a good place to crash if i do go.
Very true... Should be interesting with that change. I have went to vegas several times and I keep getting offers for really good deal on rooms. I'm thinking it would be fun to go out there and just watch pool with no other plans. But it kind of depends on if my APA Team wins. If I go for that, I may not want to go again for the Mosconi Cup.
