Pro Brackets

anymore updates from the pro's bracket?

Johann Chua has defeated Jayson Shaw and Dennis Hatch and will now face SVB who won against Carlos Biado in the semis.

So it will be:

Johann Chua vs SVB in the finals

Every year same issues !

This event is roughly
20 years old and grew exponentially! But, promoter can't get on solid ground enough to increase the prize money accordingly!

So, ask yourself why? What is going on in the promoters life???

Industry insiders know and are too polite! Just keep hoping for the best!

The main attraction is not the pro events to begin with their simply a added attraction,,
The pro events don't draw much cash,, they had matches on the main floor for free doubt there was more than 50 spectators on average at any given time
It's not snooker where there is a small chance of seeing something historic it's the same ole same ole ,, game your just as likely to see something spectacular on any table in the place that you might see in the pro events

Vested interest is what the average person is there for ,, people there have friends or people they know regionally playin in Am's there thier going to watch them play long before they will watch pros play
If they eliminated the pro events all together it wouldn't change the RIO by much if at all

When it first started out the pro event helped to kick start the amateur events!

What is sad is the speculation that personal problems have possibly kept the pro event from receiving its proper compensation!

So, we are all left to speculate on what is going on that no money was added and speculate as to why!!!

I thought it was a one time thing last year! But, I was wrong! It is on going!

Does anybody have a listing of the final four in the pro event? How did Dennis do?

It is disappointing that the winners of all SBE events is not on the AzBilliards front page of news.

Somebody on site at SBE working for AzBilliards could send the information in, or in the alternative, admin staff could e-mail the information. Is UpState Al there?

This is what the Internet is good for, immediate news results. In the old days, it wasn't as quick, but I don't understand why the results can't be shared quickly for pool fans. Just an opinion.

Final 16. Jeff Deluna knocked out Dennis.

Final 8. Johann Chua over Shaw

Thanks. I'm still trying to locate the other results of the events. This is crazy that there is no news about it the day after. :frown:

I read on FB that LoreeJon won the women's pro event and Shane won the men's pro event.

I can't find who won the ProAm or the Amateur.

We know Lynn won the Senior event.

How about the Juniors? Anybody know?

This is nuts to have to dig for the results. Total nuts!
