The cues in my thread are from four heralded cue-makers.
The first two cues in the photos are from Jerry Rauenzahn. The flame veneers
cue is from Ed Prewitt. The first 2 cues in the bottom photo were made by Bob
Owen and he did exceptional work on both of the custom cues that I designed.
The bottom cue with purple & green veneers was made by Tim Scruggs (R.I.P.)
Bob did such a great job executing the propellor design that I ordered a 2nd cue
right after receiving it. I'll readily admit that I screwed up what could have been a
fabulous design by telling Bob to use a dark stain. That cue would look better sans
stain & should have used a white veneer instead of orange because the veneers are
too dark with the forearm stain. I screwed up the design and regret doing it but the
darn cue plays so sweet that it doesn't matter any more. And the fancy peacock cue,
Bob produced turned out absolutely stunning, truly excellent in ever aspect....A+++.
