Accu-Stats “Make It Happen” 1-Pocket Invitational

Right before Efren made that combination on the 9 I believe I heard Alex say, "Didn't leave you much," and Efren reply, "You left enough."

I'm not sure why Alex shot that last shot that way. Was the 5 ball so thin that he had to go back and forth across the table that way?

Efren still has it...:bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:

As it stands right now, before the Sunday matches, Efren is in First Place with a 3-1 record and 13 total games won. Shane is in Second Place also with a 3-1 record and 12 total games won. They face each other tonight at 7PM.

If Josh Roberts defeats Billy Thorpe at noon today, he will finish at 3-2.
Alex plays Busty at 2:30 this afternoon and the winner will also be 3-2.
It depends on the total games won as to who will play the finals at 9:00 PM, either Efren or Shane or Alex or Busty.
At this point, I think it could be anyone except Josh and of course, Billy.

Looks like Shane and Efren, no matter who wins their match today.

They both beat Django and Alex, so if either are tied at 3-2, wouldn't that come into play before any game counts...?

Or am I missing something here.

It depends on whether the second tie-break (after overall match record) is head-to-head competition or total games won. I hope it is head-to-head competition, but I don't know what rules they're playing by.

Ken Shuman said yesterday that if the match records are tied the first tie breaker is total games won and the second tie breaker is head-to-head results.

In that case it looks like the winner of SVB and Efren (they play at 7:30 pm EST tonight) will be in with the best overall record at 4-1, and if Alex beats Bustie (they play at 2:30 pm EST today) he will be in, since Alex has 5 wins in his two losses, while SVB and Efren each only have 1 win in their one loss.

If Bustie beats Alex, he will end up 3-2 along with the loser of SVB and Efren. Bustie has 2 wins in his two losses, so if the loser of SVB and Efren wins at least 2 games then they are in instead of Bustie.

I know it is a short race and all these guys can beat each other...

Gotta pick Alex. After all the crap I gave him on here about his incredible failures in prior years of MIH...I know he really wants to please me.
