How to make shaft yellow.

Mix Bulls-eye shellac and mineral spirits at a 1 to 1 ratio. It will give your shafts a nice light tint while sealing and protecting. Problem solved. I do it all the time.

from one of your fellow AZ'rs...
There is much fun, and many deals to be had,
in the wanted/for sale section of the site.
The only issue with any color of sealant,
is the plastic coat hanger feel it has when playing.
If your hand has any moisture it's like trying to shoot with syran wrap...
Unless you dress your digits and sport the finger undies.

Clean, yes. Just not bright white.

New 2017 Mezz ExPro shaft on a 1999 UJ-10. I have the original shaft and would like matching patinas.

I also have missing original shafts on a McD D-7 and a D-21. Paid $100 and $75.
McD will make new shafts with matching rings but not the aged patina.

I was outbid on a D-21 original shaft on flea-bay. Rare to find.

Tannins from Oak Trees for leather.

Tea is a pseudo tannin.

True.

I didn't mean to say tea was the source of the term, but that tannins are the source of the term.

In any case, some teas are more yellowish or orange. I have never tried it.
