Sneakiest Pete for under $200?

Pure Sneaky Pete Cue

I have a choice of weights for S/P cues. PM sent to you.

Need a sneaky but cant seem to find any I like. Most of them arent sneaky at all and have logos. It would really help my situation if it had 3×8/10 thread as well. Suggestions please.

4. No butt caps. House cues do not have butt caps. They are wood all the way to the bumper. A sneaky is trying to mimic a house cue. This is always forgotten.

I see lots of house cues with bumpers.
In fact, most of the ones I've played with have had bumpers.

Tried to PM koinnkid..........
KOINNKID has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

Lost sales!

I might be wrong, but I think I have seen the seller Koinkid on ebay (selling sneaky pete cues, combined with factory 2nd OB shafts). Can anyone confirm the seller I am thinking of? Very long time seller on ebay, who does the super cheap quality sneaky combined with a factory 2nd OB or Jacoby Jacoby Edge Hybrid shafts (that usually sell for around $200, on average). Was thinking that was Koinkid (on ebay), but I might be wrong.

I just posted my thoughts about my experience with Meucci cues. Never seen one that was warped like a banana. Is that statement ("warped like a banana") just a little bit far fetched?

Once again....

Yes, Justin, I've seen some examples first hand of a warp that could be described as "warped like a banana" with Meuccis. When the butt of a cue warps, it can only be described as warping like a banana. Two Meucci butts and few Meucci shafts in the mid 80's to the early 90's. And just about all of them popped their inlays.

And I'm one guy.

You're something else.

All my OG Meucci's were straight as an -------------------------:> Pure long straight taper BB 'Whips'. Shaaaaa.

However, those plastic rings and Bob's long thin ABS LD ferrules best be handled with 'care'. Accidental drop off the non-carpet floor, braking with thin tip or like many - leaving Meucci's in car year round caused allot of the damage to Meucci's in particular.

I believe you, but I do not understand how a cue company that would seem to have such a bad reputation, would be so popular in the 2nd hand pool cue market? Why are all these warped Meucci cues selling so high on ebay? Makes no sense to me.

Because people like you don't get what the first-hand market experience is telling you. Keep it up. You are the representative. You have choices . We know what yours is.

You need to pay more attention.

Cue

I've only got a few sets left.
The price will increase shortly..

The OP stated that he was looking for a good quality sneaky for under $200. Do you consider Players to be good quality?
I'm not sure what the OP is/has decided on but I got a used but looks new Players SP and I'm very happy. Sanded off the shiny finish, beat it with a chain, sanded lightly to remove the splinters, waxed it and viola......a True Sneaky Pete for $50.

If I can find a really beat-up, high quality SP like a Schon, Joss, McD I'll buy them and distress them too. If anyone has a quality SP that's beyond refinishing PM me.

Players? I have an HXT shaft that is extra nice for the price.
Show me a shaft for $120 that's made for almost all makes of cues, that is equal or better. I will try it.
Show me a entry level replacement shaft for almost all makes of cues better than a Players for $55.

I'm sure our resident Schmelke Rep will be responding soon.

Does Valley even make a SP?
DP Cues has one using older Texas blanks but it's $250 new.
