Who was the best player to Wear Glasses Under 30? The best player I can remember is Dan Louie? Who else?

There was an section in "The Sports Gene" book (a nature vs nurture book), that basically picked out who would be the best major league baseball players (from a selection of college baseball players), based purely on how well they did on their eye exam. The better their vision (without correction) the better they played. I wonder if pool is like that. I rarely see any of the top pros with corrective lenses/contacts/lasik.

Dennis Taylor, World Snooker Champion, wears glasses. First one to have the funky, but effective, high-mounted glasses.

I remember reading in an old Steve Mizerak instructional book that he was near sighted.

Martin Gould plays pretty well with glasses. Top 16 and German Open winner.

It's rare though. But maybe there are more near sighted players than we know and they just don't wear glasses while playing?

Though not a pro by any means, I wear glasses for driving but I don't play while wearing them.

I often see Thorsten wearing glasses when he's away from the table, although at this point he's north of 30.

Kevin Cheng wears glasses and uses contacts when he plays. Didn't stop him from winning a US Open.
