I spotted a Steve Mizerak cue earlier today. What struck me as unusual is it had black linen joint collars with a nice looking red, black and natural check ring pattern with two matching shafts. It was a red stained maple Merry Widow and the logo on the butt cap was an image of Steve shooting a ball on a table. Just curious. The two matching shafts and black linen threw me for a loop.

You are posting in the wrong Forum Section. The CCG is not intended for any questions or remarks
or any discussions unrelated to very intention the Cue & Case Gallery was actually established. Post
a photo or comment on someone else's cue photos but regardless, this thread is in the wrong section.

"This is the place to post pics of your cues. Are you proud of what you shoot with? Show us all what you have."

I bought a Steve Mizerak cue at a SportsMart or some such. It was about $20, had a reasonable joint and a maple shaft. Once I got the crappy inch-and-a-quarter ferrule off, it played fine.

The Mizerak Professional Series are good cues, about like top Adam produced cues. They came with two shafts and joint protectors. And yes, they had phenolic linen collars...with nice dashed rings.

I am unaware of any of the ones with the logo you talking about being very good, but it would not surprise me if some better ones were made.
