Unless they have recently changed their rules you actually just pay the entry and play. The only qualifiers I have ever seen were for paid entry. I went for about 25 years and every year there were amateurs playing who had no chance and simply went two and out but did it apparently because they could afford it and enjoyed the playing.

First off Brags..... No Mark was left!
I'll agree he should not have gone back and forth so much just to gauge the shot.

Second....He didn't even "use" that so called mark!
The shot he took was at a very different angle and distance.
I think what he was "visualizing" with his cue tip was where the cue ball would end up.
