17-17, the votes are now
Earl sez....I can't believe anybody voted against me....
...the poll should be 87 trillion to zilch in my favor....

I voted yes. I think having him on the team gives it a dimension that is a little lacking in the younger pros. Not taking anything away from them at all, but there is a gamesmanship and charisma that seems to be missing in the younger generation so far.
For all of Earl's antics, he brings his heart and soul every match. I think that sets a good example for some of the other players.
I see the Mosconi Cup as a form of entertainment. I'd take Earl any day over one of those European robots. Not only is he ten times more fun to watch and root for, but he's still capable of shutting out any of those guys!
GO EARL!

If ur gonna post Earl's history...post it all and not just a small piece...
Let's see how he does in Raleigh this week. I think the hiatus Earl has taken in recent months has improved his game and outlook on pool. That's the only reason I'm promoting him for the upcoming Cup. We need an Earl Strickland in the mix. He always gives 100 percent of himself in every tournament. He's not there to get screwed, get high, get drunk, go sightseeing, and entertain a family. His mission is to win for USA.
Just my opinion.![]()
But when you insinuate that many of the USA Mosconi players 'screw whores', 'get high', and 'gamble all night', it is perfectly okay.
.
Jam, you're right and I agree 100%. However, the underlying message is kinda sad though.
That's EXACTLY what Vegas is there for, isn't it?
EARL might miss but he doesn't rattle and NO one is more driven to win
some may end up with more "points" but they can't bring his jock to a BIG game
ya sure he is

What he did 30 yrs ago is irrelevant to the conversation ,, today's speed is all that matters
He's not a top 5 player by any stretch of the imagination

On the contrary...there's always one last fight in a fighter and he'll bring it.
