They used to do that every year in Montreal or Toronto.
It was called the "Border Battle"

Be great to do it now!
Canada would show up with its best team ever.
and then just fb stream it

That would be a great tourney to go see. Toronto is a very cool city and seems to have a few nice rooms. The food is great and they have that Poontang.....sorry Poutine thing happenen there. I had a few crazy nights downtown in a billiard room called Rivoli. Not a players room but a wild place for sure and I shot like God. The bartender lady was as cool as they get and would cash American c-notes all night long(crazy northeners have loonies and toonies).

I think it would be an easy place to get to watch these two countries battle it out. Plus we could hang out with pt109 and Blue hog.

Before Morra hung up his cue, Pagulayan, Morra and Klatt would have formed a solid nucleus of Team Canada for sure.

It seems that Morra is playing again. He is competing again. Is this not true? Is he not playing full time again, or only playing in a few events now (part time?)? I am very curious. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I think the Border Battle should be held in Stanstead, Quebec.....
......and Derby Line, Vermont.
At the Haskell Library....which straddles the border.

Install the table right on the line...where else could you make a ball in one country...
....and scratch in another?..........all on the same shot.

Stanstead is in Memphrémagog country...free admission to those who can pronounce that...

yeah thats the idea.
they just narrowly beat the Russians 9-8.
Canada has more pros than Russia.

Canada has a few to choose from. Here are the top Canadians shown along side the Russian team

If it was 1-Pocket, that would be perfect.

But showing passports for every shot would slow down the game.

Let me guess: Mem FREE ma gog.

Jeff Livingston

Alex
Morra
Klatt
Danny Hewitt
Erik horjliefson(sorry I could be way off on spelling)

That would be a tough squad and you could probably switch the last two with two other players but being from the northeast I've seen those two players have great showings at turning stone and the Joss tour

Gotta put joey Cicero on there, he was knocked out by hatch at turning stone, finished the highest for Canada the last few events there. He's hungry, and his break is killer

fargo ratings look good here - It does show who the best players are.
For me the obvious ones are Alex, Morra and Klatt , which do show up in the right order.
Then after I like Danny Hewitt and Francis Crevier.

Alors, your knowledge of la langue Française is not up to snuff....
...you pay double...crack just one one-pocket joke, you pay quadruple.

If you have to ask what a twoonie is, you're barred.
