2018 Mosconi Cup tickets now on sale

Yes, we pay each player in the event a fee of $10,000 plus we cover their hotel accomodation for seven nights as well as air travel and transfers.
In addition, each member of the winning team receives an extra $10,000 making it $20,000 in total.

Thank you, Matchroom, for all you're doing for this great sport.

Anyone that doesn't think that Matchroom is both generous with and supportive of the players is uninformed. Matchroom is, and has long been, a credit to our sport and has production values that should be the envy of all who stage pool.

You don't know a lot about Asian cultures, do you?

I doubt any Asians would be proponents of and Asian team:

I know WU has played for China proper, Taiwan and Singapore. Chao went from Tapei to Shanghai. Ga Young Kim (Korea) lived in Taipei Taiwan for 2 years at least and had a weekly TV show with Jennifer Chen. GYK was very popular in Taiwan where she won her 2nd WPC. I also know there is a a lot of anger w Japan left over from their actions during/in WWII.

I still think a team is quite possible and so apparently does Matchroom.

Great museums but the food is bland at best. Pack a lunch.
Yeah, like this partial London menu which is pretty much a copy of the Horseshoe Casino's buffet (except for the dish that comes in a Scotch bonnet:wink:):

Burford brown egg, chestnut puree, olive crumble, raw celeriac & shimeji – 7.5
Add black truffle +10

Bastard steak tartare – 7.5

Dingley Dell pork belly with cinnamon & pepper, bacon jam, pickled carrot – 7.5

Smoked goat, pomegranate & frankincense, orange, mooli – 8

TFC (tandoori fried chicken) – 7

Octopus with passionfruit, avocado, chipotle, kohlrabi & crunchy corn – 10

Caribbean-style mussels – Jerk spices, rum & scotch bonnet – 7.5

Spiced hake, 3 bean stew, turmeric yoghurt, vermicelli – 8

NFW am i eating ONE thing on this list. Anything that has bastard, dingley or goat in the name is OUT. Just my $.02 here but i wouldn't go to London if you paid me. Watching us get hammered again and then going out for bastardized dingle goat really sounds like fun i can miss.

You wouldn't eat tandoori chicken?
No clue what it is and i damn sure wouldn't try it 4,000 miles from home. That would really be a fun trip: fly to London, watch us get pummeled and top it off with food poisoning. Sounds like the Mastercard ad from hell.

There is a lot of bad, cheap food in UK.

I spent 6mos there between 2011 and 2012, not even London (tho it was in a historic, tourist town). If you are willing to pay a bit more, there is some amazing food, especially Indian. One Indian restaurant owner that I got to know told me that he believed the finest Indian food on earth was consistently in the UK. This guy grew up in India and traveled extensively.

He explained that because India was under the British East India Company rule and a lot of Indian people moved to the UK, the food in UK is very authentic. Because of the wealth in UK, as opposed to India, better ingredients are available in UK, making for better food.

If all you eat is 'Murican food, like pasgetti and burgers, yes, you will find food that is slightly worse than the american versions. If you want naan, curries, tandori, masala, etc., you can't find better.

Thank-you for proving the rest of the world has good reason to hate 'Murican tourists. The loud, ignorant people drown out the rest of us.
