Brunswick Table

I've got an opportunity to get this table for pretty much nothing.

I'm assuming its a brunswick centennial 9ft snooker table. Its missing one piece near the right pocket in one picture. I didn't even take a tape measure to see what size it was.

My questions are:

Is it a 9ft or 10ft or can you tell?

Is it worth restoring? Its been sitting in this warehouse for quite a long time.

Can it be restored to a pool table?

Are parts readily available for restoration?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: For some reason the pictures weren't showing up when in the img tag.

That looks like a project. I am guessing a 10fter. I would hit up Mark Gregory and ask him about restoring the rails and to see if they can be converted to pool specs.

I'm no mechanic, but looks like a sweet 10' X 5' snooker table. I think I'd jump on that and just restore it as is and leave as a snooker table.

I would be all over that thing like stink on....................mmmmm....lets see:confused::confused:

I would be all over that thing like fleas on a dog
or
mustard on a hot dog?
white on rice?
on it like a cheap suit?
At any rate I think you get the idea.

I started disassembling today. Looks like the rails are in pretty rough shape. What I'm assuming is formica around the legs has taken a beating from the humidity over the years. There are quite a few bolts missing. One side of the aluminum is bent pretty good. The other side looks like either a murder scene or someone spilled some stain on it.

As you can see from the pictures it says 5x10 anniversary snooker mod DC. Does this mean it was originally a pool table that was converted to snooker?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Table

The anniversary,Kling and centennial all share the same rail production...
That table is considered a centennial.
Brunswick only offered 5x10 in modern american snooker..
I’ve seen some odd Brunswick anniversary tables with double stretchers and or three pedestals but I believe those tables came in from Canada...

That table is really too rough to even consider restoring. I could use some of the parts so why not give it to me. I'll send a truck to your location tomorrow. Mitch

I didn't know the Kling shared the same rails as the Centennial, or Anniversary. I was thinking the Klings used the horizontal rail bolt attachments that screw directly into inserts in the slate. I was thinking the Sport King, Anniversary and Centennials carried the same rail design.

When did the Kling switch from the T-bolt rail system to bolt down on the slate?

No, it was a snooker table to begin with. No formica on the pedestals either. Figure between 5k-8k minimum to restore it to a pocket pool table because as a snooker table its worthless.
