My wife and I went to bed at 730 PM because
she gets up at 5AM

now its 130 AM and I can not sleep

Back in college I would just be getting up to go to the pool room
the HUSTLERS would have gone to the bars to win all the easy action

The bars closed at 2AM so these degenerates would go to the pool room

They would not feel right going to bed with their profits so they
dropped by to take me off

I never could play very good so I had to ask for the nuts
Since I was a college kid and wore penny loafers they figured I was stupid and they could easily give me the nuts

It is so hard to out run the nuts,you should try it some time

During classes; white Levi's, madras shirt and penny loafers. On the weekends or a date; Sans a Belts with a Banlon or alpaca cardigan and Stetson Saratogas. Spit shined all my shoes; even my penny loafers.

Had a 396 Nova that once pulled the 8 track clean out of the player in 2nd gear.

No better times than that! Add to that being old enough to play on an Anniversary or early GC or AMF. Never found a Centennial, but gosh I still relive that era frequently. Now long ago and far away...:frown:

Golly gosh...me too. Only it was "three deuces and a 4 speed...and a three eighty-nine" for me.
 
I had a 58 Impala convertible
in addition to the penny loafers,jams, at school we went to the Cotton bowling Palace to see the real players

here it was slacks and aligators on the foot joys or johnson murpheys

there has never been a pool room to compare to it

and suddenly the bet was on

I could be there till 7 or noon the next day before the action was over
