Try reading the thread to get some context, reminding me of Justin
uh yea, still wondering what is is Corey did while Shane was "about to break" since that is what this thread is about.
And how exactly do you know what the thread is about if you don't bother to read the comments in the thread? Because if you had you wouldn't be asking which video I was referencing, and since mulitple people quoted my post you obviously didn't read their comments either!
Carry on...
That still doesn't explain your accusation of Corey sharking Shane. I just think if you're going to say things like that you should have something to back it up. Your videos certainly suggest that Corey is no angel either, but I never got the impression that this thread was about that. At least not before you took it in that direction. I believe most of us who posted early on were relating it to the recent issues with Shaw questioning Shane's rack.
I'm guessing by your comment you have no answer that can back up your seemingly Justin like ability to know what a thread is about without actually reading the thread ?![]()
So I'll ask one last time.
What did Corey do to Shane that in your mind constitutes "Sharking"?
![]()
Since Shane was about to shoot, I would have simply asked do you mind if I check the rack. I stay seated when others are at the table.
I feel it is sharking to be all up on someone's rack, especially in rack your own, if you want to check the rack and the other player is at the table, simply ask.
That was the etiquette my grandpa taught me. That's my opinion.
Now your turn, please explain how you know what a thread is about without reading it?
You initially said "so I'm assuming you are referencing something that happened in the past?"
Which is fairly clear you had Zero idea what I was referencing. Now your narrative has morphed into you did not remember the name of who posted the videos, that earlier you didn't even know about. Smh
Seems like you got embarrassed I pointed out you didn't read, then changed your tune?
Your ego and immaturity are astounding.
Accept that your opinion is one of many. Your attack on Jerry is unwarranted.
So you are attacking my ego and immaturity, while telling me not to attack someone, sounds legit
It was not intended to be an attack; simply an observation. Think of it more as a mere suggestion, that some self reflection may benefit you.
Good day.
There’s probably only two pool players from New Mexico and here they are, bickering back and forth about the definition of “about to break”. I love this place!!!
Edit: I just learned that I have a reading disability. One of you guys is from MN, not NM. You’re still both a lot of fun.
Bottom line - Corey broke first, Shane did not check Corey's rack, and Corey broke and ran out. Alternate break format, Shane gets up to rack his own for his break and Corey gets up to check Shane's rack. Regardless of whether or not there was a rule as to whether a player is allowed to check his opponent's rack, I would consider this as extremely poor etiquette (on the part of Corey) between two top pro players right off the bat in the early part of their set.OK, so if a player wants to inspect another players rack when is he supposed to do it?
There are racking rules and if there is not a ref present, it falls on the responsibility of the player to verify there are no rules being broken correct?
From what I saw, Corey stood back, let Shane rack the balls and as soon as Shane lifted the rack and started to walk to the head of the table Corey approached the table, looked at the balls, then turned and went back to his seat. According to the guy doing the stream, Corey didn't say anything to Shane. So where is this Sharking you speak of?
When I point out an observation I am attacking, when you say "Your ego and immaturity are astounding" that is an observation, well played sir, well played
@Jerry if you felt attacked, I offer you my sincere apology. I thought we were having a witty back and forth.

It's all good....after all, it's just the internet.
