Having the Pro Events DURING THE WEEK??????
Big mistake. I almost booked a room until I saw the schedule.
I think the stands will look like her last event. Shame.
I've always liked and pulled for her. She didn't think this one through.

I'm not even going to google this to try to find out what, where, or when this is. They can come on and tell us about it. :embarrassed2::boring:

Hard Rock Casino. Atlantic City NJ. Nov. 7th-11th.
She supposedly has CBS (I think) lined up for some coverage. That is a great step.
We'll see.
Also, a big amateur tournament on the weekend.
 
I only query the date?
With it being in AC why not schedule it around the time of SBE and Appleton's tour stop?
3 big events all within a 3 week period with little travelling expenses :thumbup:
 
Any event that adds 100k is a good thing for the players.

Just hope all the issues from the past are worked out now.
 
Haven't been there since it just opened up but will probably check it out next weekend.

Just checked those room rates, nuts for Friday and Saturday. Anyone know a cheaper place to stay nearby?

You could stay right next door at the Showboat for $143/night. Rather than the $200/290 at the Hard Rock. Pretty weak group rate.
 
Any event that adds this much money is great for the the top players.

True. But it's also fair to note that the added money is spread across a bunch of different events (7?), and no one will be competing in all of those events.
