Jeff Ignacio is in the last 32. He'll play Wu KL tomorrow.

After eliminating SVB and Kaci, Shaw gets world champ Biado next.
If he wins, he'll take on Filler/Chang in last 16.
Tough luck!

That's why this is a world title. Face killer after killer the whole way. Knockout 32. Have to bring your A game every single match because there is no second chance.

It isn't a "World" title.

That is true but it may as well be and is a tougher field than the World Open 9 ball of late.

Just by way of its location, it will always be a stronger field than anything held in the USA imho. Every killer from China, Taiwan and the Philippines is there and no more that 5% of them would travel here for various and numerous reasons

Sure not many of the USA goes over there but how many killers do we have?-It would be hard to argue we have 3. As for the Euros, God bless them, they'd go anywhere on earth to play against the best it seems.

PS-Im not arguing with you Joe- I just felt like making a speech-lol!.

That's the reason Asian tours are tough. They prepare many weeks before the grueling tournament. You'll never know what will happen.

Definitely, it is a tough 64 man field. Our tournaments have way too much road kill.

My bad. You are right, Gorst, de Luna, Ignacio qualified.

Yes. Shows how tough it is when
Chris Meiling, Chang Yu Lung, Jeff Ignacio , Yang, Hsu Kai Lin, Hijikata Hayato, Hsieh Chia Chen and a tonne of lesser known killers had to play in qualifiers just to play in main event. Only 4 of them made it through.
