My one pocket game

I played Rick again on Saturday.
9-7 my way.
I felt like a hamburger on a grill.
I got barbecued this time.
I never got more than 5 balls.
I lost 4 straight games and quit. :angry:
He was extremely careful not to make a mistake when there were a lot of open balls.
I never got a chance to run a few.

I have played Rick only a few times and his defense and patience is tough to fade. He lives and breaths one pocket. The few times I played Rick he was very helpful when I asked rookie questions and has a slough of shots that are bordering on trick shots that he is very good at. His one pocket knowledge is deep.

It would be fun to see you guys play a little Straight pool.

Patience is probably my weak spot.
I tend to lose it and shoot shots that are not smart in one pocket.
I still have a bit of the mentality I had 40 years ago that I can make any shot and usually did back then.
I have to start thinking I am 71 and cant do that anymore.
