How about Josh Roberts??

No fear!!

Layin’ the smack down on Alcaide, 11-4!! Up next, he gets Shaw.

The Man has no fear! He will play anybody for any amount and he always shows up! He plays every game a Hi-Speed and I think he still has room to get better, what a player!

Great player he plays all games on all size tables jam up

It might be a good thing that Mr Roberts is not playing on the Mosconi team...
...after all, them victory parties can get out of hand.

Josh played great in elizabeth city at the great dismal swamp classic. He finished 3rd in a loaded field.

Agreed! Give me some gunfighters to go after those Euro's.

I agree.

Having said that, he's still human. Lol, I know because I was able to take him for two sets of 10 ball playing even at the cliff Joyner benefit in Huntsville Alabama.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a strong player but, I'm not supposed to beat Josh head up the way I did. Even if it was for only $100 and $200 a set.

He had a very, very bad night. Not just with me but with a couple other guys. Eventhough, the other two he played were pros like him...... not wannabe like me.

I know from personal experience that he is a good all around player but, I also know from experience that his 10 ball game is WWWAAAYYY below his 1hole.

All in all, for what ever reason he did play much better in the tournament than he did in private sessions that night.

BTW.....he would have beat my brains in if the bet had been right but not because he would have played better.....nope, I wish....but because I would have folded to more pressure.

The other two guys he played beat him for far more than I did.

Like I said, he had a very rare.... bad night in general.

He's also one of the nicest people I've ever played with. Very respectful, moreso than the average pro by far.

Yes, a great guy...met him several times, he is very approachable!

At the tournaments maybe only Orcollo hits as many balls as Josh does on the side tables when nothing is going on. He lives on the damn tables. He is a great ambassador to the game. Both in tournaments and action. He's been stuck six or seven games at 500 a game, make one of sickest 11 and outs in 1p (6 or 7 of the balls were above the side pocket) that I've ever seen and not get in his feelings when his opponent promptly quit. He's also been ahead about 20 games at 2k a game when his opponent only had a barell or two left and not quit his opponent while they fought all the way back to even. How many guys can you think of that wouldn't of found every excuse under the sun to find some way to quit. He's also very humble in victory too. Forget which tournament it was but he double dipped Alex P (one set he was down 8-3 in a race to 9) and was very respectful to his opponent, the game, and the fans that wanted to chat. Not too many in this game have the skill he has and the accomplishments and are still so down to earth. Much respect to him. He deserves all the good things that come his way.

Don’t forget the time he and SVB squared off and both shot 1.000. Only reason Josh lost was on one break.

I like his approach and how he gets down. He's a real player. Good to see him out there battling these world champions. This event really did pull off a great field.

It was the Cheesehead Classic in Wisconsin where Josh Double Dipped Alex in the finals.

He played fantastic that event, they even had him wear the Cheesehead hat after he won the event :rotflmao1::rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

Josh is really a great commentator too he has a lot of pool knowledge in all games and does a great job putting it into words breaking down shots and strategies of the game.
