efren vs. busty- fun safety battle

This event was held at the 2001 Los Angeles Billiard Expo in Burbank, CA. That's Billy Incardona and Tony Annigoni doing commentary and Scott Smith ref'ing. Your's truly produced this event, held only a month after 9/11. Many people who had planned to come (players and vendors) canceled and would not fly out to California for good reason. The hotel was gracious and gave me the option to cancel the entire event on short notice but we decided to go ahead with it anyway. Attendance was still quite good for the pro event put on by Pat Fleming and Accu-Stats.

hey jay, thanks for the background and glad y'all got the event off- if not, I obviously wouldn't have been able to post such cool vids here

as an aside, I'm not sure I realized that tony a. was commentating alongside billy- I wasn't familiar with him until reading "playing off the rail," but enjoyed reading about his experience in that book.

I dunno...the way those balls were sitting by the time it got to part 2, they coulda shot anything except the clusters and there'd be no difference.

Like the kid says at 1:59...
