World 10 Ball Championship 22-26July2019/ Winner $30K

Earl apparently tried to talk shit to Ralf after losing 8-6 but Ralf laughed it off.

Yup, if not for Earl's customary poor sportsmanship, you'd have hardly known it was him. They both played bad in this one, but Ralf caught a gear in the late stages to advance. Ralf will definitely have to elevate his play if he hopes to remain on the winner side of the bracket.

If Shane and Filler both win their next matches at 12:30 on Wednesday, they will play at 3pm on Wednesday to see who makes it to the single elimination, and who goes home.

Yup, we're certain to lose one of the game's biggest superstars in the early stages. Per Fargo, in no particular order, the world's top five are Wu, Filler, Shane, Shaw and JL Chang. Jayson Shaw and JL Chang are still undefeated. Wu didn't show, and we'll lose Shane or Filler today. Nobody is safe.

WPA World Championship events always draw super-tough fields and this is no exception. There are many minefields to negotiate to keep advancing in such events, which is why they're so difficult to win. That's why the winner will deserve our unmitigated respect and applause.

Thanks to all that brought a new WPA World Championship to America! It's a great occasion.

They actually still have to play one more match (at 8pm) against loser of Kazakis v Ralf to qualify for last 16 single elimination.
So Shane, Filler and Gorst each have to play 3 matches today.

Table 1 matches:

10:00 - Oi v Sky
12:30 - He v Cheng Chieh
3:00 - Foldes/Olson v. Hoang/Ko Yi
5:30 - Chang v Melling
8:00 - tbd

Streaming starts from 1230pm so no stream for 10am

Skyler was up over Oi, I think 6-2 or 6-3, then Oi came back and had Sky down 7-6, and then Sky won 8-7. Watching the numbers change was very exciting.

Tyler Styer crushed Faraon 8-1. He plays the winner of Morra and Deuel, who are at 7-7 right now.

Danny Olson still in it too.

I'm hoping with you, but table 1 on the bracket looks to be Ko Pin-Yi vs Danny Olson.

I see that, plus they have the next match in SVB's bracket listed as being on Table 4.

It's gonna suck if those two titans play and we don't get to see it.

Didn't Shane win a Predator event in the US in the late 2000's with the World name to it? I think it was in Florida. Might've been 10b too.

They could've easily made this event race to 9.
Only 1 less game to win, but still way too short IMO.

I dont care for this race to 7 and 8 that CSI has been pushing.
