just watched the show..did yall?
there is always a script
emily is not a high level pro
but I don't think that's the point
she obviously loves the game
and wants to be treated with respect
not as a woman pool player
but as a human pool player
why wouldn't we give her, or anybody else that?
there are a lot of different folks out there
from different genetics, places, walks of life
how we appear shouldn't define us
let the game we all play bring us together
Funny how she knocks guys for being sexist pigs while twerking her ass for all to see.
Calling her a pro is laughable and an insult to those women out there who can really play. If a dude at her level said he was pro speed, he would be ridiculed mercilessly.
I seriously doubt she wrote the script.....let her make a living.
She is much better looking without the makeup.
Shootin' Pool :grin-square:
I watched the show and enjoyed it. Sure it was a bit contrived/scripted but if you are expecting anything else on TV you probably have an IQ below room temperature.
Congrats to Emily and the NYC crew for being part of the series.
Yo Ho Ho :grin-square:I agree with this. It was entertaining. This is BRAVO not Accustats. Leave your fargo rating at the door.
(SJM... I apologize, man. I know you've prolly come to expect better from me...)
Ok...true confession time....the only reason I knew about the show in the first place is because I watch the "Below Deck" shows:embarrassed2:
Ok, fair enough. She is attractive enough to have guys at the bar/poolroom trying to pick her up. I'd talk to her considering the cute factor and she can play some(much better than most women) she needs to break away from that retard crew she is hanging with, they are not "cool" and Finnegan is a fat pig! Jen B is sexy as hell but a terribly slow player who is unwatchable!
If there was ever a woman player I would want to watch all day it would be Jen B. The slow play makes it impossible.
Where was I? Lost all thought.
Bruh. I haven't seen it yet, as I am in Germany and don't get Bravo... But was it convincing? With some of her ways of standing, walking, heck... I can almost tell it's a woman in these pics alone. And I've seen her play at Derby, against a guy that gave her weight. I would think her stroke might be a clue, and she certainly does not have the stroke of a say, Jean Balukas. Put a bag over Jean's head, make sure the boobies aren't showing, and I'm not sure anyone would ever have pegged her as a female player. Jean had an all-around athlete's body, and from what I hear of her youth, she competed in a lot of different sports. All the pros at the time said she "plays the game like a man".
