International Open

Wow, those 3 old folks Thorsten, Mika, Darren are firing on all cylinders. Especially Darren who is still on winners side (meaning he will finish at least top 16), probably his best performance in a major event in some time

230pm match will be toss up of any of these matches.
Aranas v Chang YL
Morra v Teutscher
Corey v Sanchez Ruiz
Mika v Grabe

630pm Little Ko v Shaw
830pm will highly likely be Appleton v Filler instead of Kazakis v Thorsten since Kazakis just appeared earlier on TV table (and Thorsten somehow never gets to appear on TV table like how he always gets sidelined for MC. :D )

1030pm will be
SVB/ Ruslan v Albin/Nikos/Bergman OR
Yapp/Garcia/Pagulayan v Chang JL/ Gorst/Robinson

surprised that Nikos went for this not so easy 9 combo (looks easy but isn't)
He missed and let Albin get back to table to tie the match 7-7. Should have been 8-6 Nikos

Anytime Shaw plays Ko, if there is a camera, it should be pointed at that table. Unspoken tournament streamer rule.

Amen. The Albin/Nikos match is putting me to sleep.
Maybe they could add canned laughter and a 30 second shot clock with 1 extesion per rack. Mark referring to a thin cut hammering Judy from side rail to side rail “going 3-rails” for position, even confused Danny D. That is not going 3 rails when only 2 are being used.

Reading the posts here, I guess Albin went back to his effective but unwatchable methodical playing style. Isaw him struggling for quite some time now but first his performance at the 14.1 tournament and now some solid play at the international open makes me hope that he found his strengh again.

Only 4 Americans left:
SVB
Corey
Bergman
Robinson

I know Robinson has an uphill battle against Chang, but I like the kids game and think he has a real bright future!

Geez Pete would say "yes" or "mm hmm" to anything-.Bill "He needs to sacrifice a Rhesus monkey here" Pete: YEES!

Just an observation..either of those bracketing white gentleman could be Mikemosconi. I know this after seeing that picture of him in the high run? thread. No joke or anything I just thought it odd timing and coincidence:) carry on

Damn, no Ko vs Shaw at 6:30. Instead showing fricking Orcollo vs Lechner.

What??????

Who makes these decisions?

If I hadn't paid, I would just watch live scoring from now on.

I wouldn't have watched at all today except for Shaw Ko. That's the only reason I paid today.
