Better than wrinkles, I suppose.

All those Auto Manfacturer's are the racing industry... Nascar and all the racing leagues would not exist with out the manufacturers.

NFL IS the core of football.

None of what you said makes any sense. EXAMPLE:

Ford certainly does pay drivers and sponsors races. Here is fords racing site:
https://performance.ford.com/series.html

That driver is hired by Ford, and therefore an employee of FORD!!!

Once again, WHO put up the racing prize money to be won in every race....the auto manufacturers????

I am not in the racing business. You have been wrong so far about racing, so lets move back to pool because you are not making any sense.

We were talking about pool and how the pool industry barely supports the Professional Player. We are not talking about teams.

For an industry to grow: that takes investment and in our case also FANS and not just PLAYERs

Couldn't be more wrong!! The FIRST thing pool needs, is an organization that represents an ORGANIZED group of dedicated PROFESSIONAL players that are in fact repetitive so that the viewing audience can learn there NAMES!! THEN there needs to be platform in which to SHOW a viewing audience their competitive sport to, so that a SPONSOR will make a financial commitment to the sporting even, as a way of advertising THEIR products or services for sale to so that they in return can pull a PROFIT from their advertising DOLLARS invested in providing tournament players winnings!!!

Now, tell me where this industry fits in!!!

This industry has always been, and will continue to be so, including you, all about "how much can I make, and how much can I get away with".....because NO ONE in this industry really cares about the Professional players, they buy and sell them all the time with endorsement contracts for penny's on the dollar!!!!

There are TONS of Organizations who host tournaments. Companies in the industry should be sponsoring them and many of them do:) Why does Diamond host the DCC? For advertising and marketing= to sell tables :) CPBA just hosted a big tourny in China, for why? To sell more cloth.

There are many different ways this industry can grow. I have a feeling new companies entering the market can only help :)

including you, all about "how much can I make, and how much can I get away with".....!

Now that is BULL$h1t. I make an honest living selling good products. My customers are happy...

You will say anything to try and be "right".

Instead of arguing, discussing the future of pool and not personally attacking someone who has shown you nothing but respect, is better time spent.

As long as the players are putting up over 75% of their OWN money so there is some sort of payout....pool will NEVER improve!!!

Why do you attack the truth? Which players do YOU sponsor to do YOUR part in this industry, or do you keep all you make???

I just donated a nice SS Kamui clear to a girl who is trying very hard to make her way into serious womens pool! :)

I am not making millions of dollars. Is RKC250 doing any sponsorships?? nope. :)

Thats great. I do hope you make your ideas come to fruition. "Taking over" should not be the goal in my opinion. I prefer the idea of adding.

Every year I spend a large sum of money to all of the companies we are talking about :) I use a lot of cloth, rubber, pockets, new tables, used tables and equipment(balls, cues and such) every year. I know I am a PART of this industry :) I like what I do and that I am part of something bigger than me.

Looking at a half dozen pictures from the event it appears that the tables were all done that way. Other than being a bit reminiscent of camel toe, is it an issue really?

Adding to, implies that something is already working and I'm helping it along. There is NOTHING to add to, because this industry is so screwed up, the only way to straighten it out is to FIRE anyone who claims to be in charge, and start over from square one!!

Only time will tell. I hope your deal goes through. There is no single person in charge... Never will be.

You spend to make money. Not one dime of what you spend goes into supporting this sport from a players stand point.

Business= Spend money + time(more valuable than money)= Make money!!

We have hit PAYDIRT. You got that right. You just proved my point. None of the $$$ I spend in the industry goes to the players because so few of those companies endorse players( actually pay them checks). That brings us full circle to what we were originally talking about. The industry does not support the professionals. Thanks for getting to that!

The industry, just like you, would go broke trying to support the pool players, so there's no way this industry can afford the put pool players on payroll.
